Let me tell you how I got to where I am today. I am from a small Village in Cornwall, England. I grew up by the beach on the south coast and I have always loved the ocean from a young age. It wasn’t until I was in my mid-teens that I was introduced to surfing by my two brothers.
It took me a while to learn because at that time I didn’t really have anyone to teach me or tell me what equipment would be good to start with. I tagged along with them and their friends until I was old enough to go on my first proper surf trip with my older brother when I was just 17. My parents were very reluctant but they knew they wouldn’t hear the end of it if I wasn’t allowed to join my brother who is just thirteen months older than I am. It wasn’t until then that I really got the bug for surfing and well travelling to surf just seemed the perfect combination.
